Reaching Lisbon & Estoril by plane

The region is served by Lisbon International Airport, located only 30 kilometres (19 miles) away. Lisbon is connected to major European cities with daily direct flights: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Budapest, Copenhagen, Dublin, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Istanbul, London, Madrid, Moscow, Paris, Prague, Rome, Stockholm, Warsaw, and Wien to name but the most significant. In average, the flight time is around 2 ½ hours from major Western European cities and ca. 8 hours from most North/ South American and Asian metropolitan cities.

By Train
The railway network covers practically the whole country including several scenic routes. The journey from Lisbon to Estoril begins at Cais do Sodré station and takes just over half an hour.
